The exhibit highlights the works of three internationally active artists who each create art quilts with their own unique expressions. Workshops by Jim Hay (Feb 26) and Noriko Endo (Mar 16) are also scheduled during the exhibition.

JIM HAY
After working as a sculptor in the USA, he came to Japan and started making quilts. Concrete expression through boldly deformed collages composes a bold and energetic picture together with the charm of layered materials, telling a unique story that arouses curiosity.

NORIKO ENDO
Her unique method of confetti is internationally acclaimed, and there are many confetti quilt enthusiasts. Her style, which is created by layering small pieces of cloth, gives a sense of depth and depth, reminiscent of Impressionist paintings. She effectively expresses light and shade, and her depiction of nature, including creatures, draws the viewer into her work.

HARUE KONISHI
Produces works in pursuit of minimalistic expressions using materials such as Japanese cloth and floss. The repetition of simple shapes and careful stitching give a neat and cool impression, and the rich texture of Japanese cloth and floss cotton make it an attractive work that makes you feel the movement.
